Now it’s petered into the wedding industry and we’ve got to admit, this is one trend we’re confused about. Because, although it may not be the extravagant celebration that we love, pop-up weddings are a seriously stress-free way to get married – theyr’e quick, easy to organise and won’t blow the budget.
This type of wedding is the anti-glam, you don’t book a ceremony; you simply just show up at a location with a celebrant and any guests you want along. It’s the ultimate hipster trend: brides book the coolest photographer, the hottest stylists and a quirky celebrant and show up at a surprising location, like an alley to say ‘I do’.
It’s fuss free, a breeze to coordinate and if you need to tighten your Jimmy Choo shoe stings (so to speak), this could be an option!
