Kyal and Kara, the blonde-haired sweethearts from Channel 9’s The Block have just announced that they’ve welcomed their first child into the world – a baby boy!
Born on the 16th October at 7:56pm, their new son weighed in at a healthy 8.5 pounds and was 51cm long. Kyal gushed over his wife Kara on Instagram saying, “Kara was nothing short of amazing. I’m still buzzing from helping guide our baby out! It just feels like a dream.”
The twosome, who are renowned for being some of the ‘nicest people on television’ chose an unusual name for their first born, one we certainly haven’t heard before! Ziya Christopher Demmrich is the official name of the new bub!
After appearing on Season Eight of the hit TV show, Kyal and Kara have continued renovating and flipping houses along with securing themselves a number of brand ambassadorial roles. Throughout her pregnancy, Kara kept her 125,000 followers updated on her progress, regularly posting photos of her maternity fashion, revealing she’s both nervous and excited and being real about the sometimes confrontational changes her body was going through.
