Nobody does it like Teddy Manuel! The Filipino event styling and floral design extraordinaire held his much-awaited masterclass on the 16th and 17th of August 2023.

Teddy is the founder of Teddy Manuel’s Flowers and Events, an industry leader in the Philippines. Launched in 2001, the company has since been established as the go-to event designer for various celebrity and luxury weddings, galas, and more!
Over the course of Teddy’s two-day Masterclass, enrollees took a deep dive into the ins-and outs of dressing up an event with breathtaking floral arrangements.

Day 1
Held at the luxurious Marriott Manila in Metro Manila, Day 1 of the function kicked off with networking opportunities with fellow participants, sessions on the best practices of floral design, and analyses of case studies. Spearheaded and curated by Teddy himself, all sessions were jam-packed with practical tips and tricks, equipping the aspiring floral designers for a future in the events industry.

As part of the Day 1 experience, participants were treated to an exclusive tour of the lively Dangwa Flower Market in Sampaloc, Manila. There, they explored the rich variety of Philippine flora, and learned about the market’s 50-year history.
Day 2
On to Day 2! After learning all about the industry and design tricks, participants finally got some hands-on experience through an installation challenge. With a little help from industry experts and fellow students, they set up their very own event design implements, putting their newly-acquired skills and innate creativity to practice!

The Gala
To wrap it all up, the Teddy Manuel Masterclass 2023 ended with a gala to remember.
Participants got a first-hand immersion in the event design prowess of Teddy Manuel himself. Integrating some pieces created by the enrollees, the gala setup was nothing short of stunning!
