It’s been a wonderful week for celebrity weddings, with a slew of famous It-Girls taking time out from their glamorous schedules to support their loved ones on their big day. Taylor Swift was a burgundy beauty as she fulfilled her bridesmaid duties at long-time friend Abigail Anderson’s nuptials, while Hailey Baldwin made a wonderful maid of honour at her sister Alaia Baldwin’s big day.
Emerging from months out of the spotlight, Taylor Swift was every inch the devoted friend, with the Look What You’ve Made Me Do singer leaving her bathtub of bling and riding crop at home for the event. The songstress looked spectacular, with her gown’s classic sweetheart neckline emphasizing her frame before falling into a cascading A-line skirt.
As part of her duties Swift made a overly raunchy bridesmaid speech. In a leaked video, Swift was filmed recalling a less than favourable story about Abigail and her husband Matt Lucier. “She’s running after him, there’s falling, there’s stumbling”, she says in the video. “They make it to the bathroom and I can hear sounds that I can never unhear…and then there’s silence”. The speech cuts out but the crowd and especially the bride are in hysterics.
Hailey Baldwin, on the other hand, was the epitome of a modern day vamp at her older sister’s wedding, with the girl about town rocking one of this season’s most notorious bridesmaid trends. The It-girl was a vision in a sleek black dress featuring a mermaid tail and v neckline. All seven bridesmaids were dressed in differently styled dresses, a trend we’ve totally been loving. Model Ireland Baldwin wore a lace, off the shoulder number that was totally chic.

It was only short while ago we saw the beautiful Lauren Conrad serving as bridesmaid for her friend and wedding planner Cassandra Herchenfeld. Just six weeks out for the birth of her son Liam James, Conrad looked gorgeous in a floaty grey maxi dress with a plunging v-neckline (we’re spotting a trend here) that she designed herself, alongside 13 other bridesmaid dresses.

We also spotted Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen as bridesmaids. This time it was the mismatched bridesmaid trend that’s was featured. The 18 bridesmaid (that’s right Fairies 18!) were asked to come dressed in anything they wanted but it had to be floral. And the result? A beautiful bouquet of bridesmaids in varying styles. We love this trend.
