Researchers have come out to say that there is actually a ‘perfect’ age to get married, but do you believe this magic formula?
A study by the University of Utah concludes that the best age to get married and minimise the chances of divorce are between 28 and 32.
The study polled more than 22,000 men and women aged from 15 to 44 years of age and took in factors including sex and pregnancy.
The researcher, Nicholas Wolfinger PhD says, “The odds of divorce decline as you age from your teenage years through your late twenties and early thirties, thereafter, the chances of divorce go up again as you move into your late thirties and early forties.”
While the study kind of makes sense, by this age you’ve generally finished studying, are working full-time, have financial independence and (hopefully) have a pretty good understanding of your own personality and morals, what do you think?
