The wedding will definitely be a multicultural affair – Ricky Martin is Puerto Rican, has Spanish nationality, and lives predominantly in Los Angeles (as well as Sydney, Australia, during filming for The Voice) and Yosef is from Sweden. While the couple aren’t sure where they’ll hold the wedding yet (as Australia is sadly yet to legalise same-sex marriage, it probably won’t be Sydney) wherever they decide to hold the wedding, we’re wondering if they’ll need to hire a translator!

Of course, the most important two guests will be Martin’s two twin sons, Matteo and Valentino, whom he fathered in 2008 via a surrogate. Luckily Yosef is clearly besotted with his soon-to-be stepsons, regularly posting cute photos of the family on his Instagram. “Thank u for being the light of our lives,” Yosef wrote in August, alongside a photo of himself with the boys.
One thing’s for sure: it’s bound to be a romantic ceremony, with Martin clearly head over heels with Yosef: “I met Jwan, and from the moment we shook hands for the first time, I knew this was special. He felt the same thing, and then everything was so organic,” he told Ocean Drive. And we’re sure the reception’s going to be pretty next-level too. Hey – can we get an invite?
