Jaydon proposed to Melissa as they were enjoyed a weekend away in Thredbo, during a blizzard! After a romantic dinner, Melissa and Jaydon opened up a bottle of wine beside the fireplace, and to Melissa’s complete surprise, Jay dropped down on one knee and popped the question.
Melissa told Wedded Wonderland, “I quickly snatched the ring off him and put it on my finger and then Jay said, “so is that a yes?” Of course it was a yes. He then told me that he was planning on doing it the next day but couldn’t keep it a surprise any more. He’s really bad with secrets.”
The wedding perfectly suited the couple’s style; an intimate, fun and cheeky affair! The most memorable moment of the night for the couple was entering the reception, where all the guests greeted them by cheering, clapping and waving. “We felt like celebrities. Its certainly something that we’ll remember forever,” Melissa said.
Reflecting on their special day, the couple told Wedded Wonderland, “the day was the most perfect, best day of our lives.”
