When high school sweet hearts Marie and Harris celebrated their wedding day, guests knew they were in for a treat as both the bride and groom stem from Greek backgrounds and love a good party. So it was no surprise when the day turned out to be big, glamorous and fun-filled, with tradition playing an important role.
Marie looked every part the princess bride in her custom-made Bizzaro Bridal Couture gown, which featured a floral sequin corset and layered tulle skirt. Her hair was swept to the side in a polished low bun, perfect for what the evening had in store.
White roses were an apparent reoccurring theme which matched perfectly with the monochrome décor of the reception held at Doltone House, Sylvania Waters. Everything from the lush floral table arrangements, brides and bridesmaid’s bouquets right down to their 3 tier cake featured fresh white roses.
The couple’s 300 guests waited in anticipation as the young couple along with their stylish bridal party made their grand entrance. And what Big Fat Greek Wedding is complete without a traditional Greek bouzouki player? Their reception was transformed into a lively party with friends, family and loved ones celebrating with the couple till the early hours of the morning. From the looks of things, there would have been many sore feet the next day, but definitely well worth it!
