Ashliegh described the night Kieran proposed as the most romantic night of her life. The pair were in Bali where Kieran had prepared a beautiful evening for the two of them. The night started with dinner at Karma Kandara in Bali, where Kieran had hired out the entire beach and set up a private dining table covered in rose petals. At the end of the dinner, Ashliegh saw a violinist walking towards the couple and playing her favourite song, “All of me” by John Legend. As she turned to look at Kieran she saw he had dropped down on one knee with a huge sign asking Ashliegh to marry him.
“It was by far the sweetest and most memorable night, the whole restaurant gave us a standing ovation and cheered us on, it was lovely,” Ashliegh told Wedded Wonderland.
Kieran and Ashliegh’s wedding, held in Bali, was a romantic, magical and relaxed affair. The couple had the same violinist play at the ceremony as when Kieran proposed and lots of candles, chandeliers and flowers.
Kieran and Ashliegh went for a cocktail and canapés style reception, where they had beautifully decorated tables and a large lounge area under an open marque, with chandeliers and florals hanging from the ceiling, fire dancers, a shisha bar, a dessert bar and fireworks!
Ashliegh told Wedded Wonderland, “This wedding style suited us perfectly, we aren’t the sit down for a quiet dinner type, we love to dance and mingle it was such a fun night and so lovely to have our close family and friends travel to Bali to celebrate us getting married, we are so grateful for that. It was an unforgettable night and we wish we could just relive it as the evening goes by so quickly.”
One of the most heart-warming moments from the couple’s special day was Kieran’s heartfelt speech, announcing that the couple were expecting their first baby together, a baby girl. Simply beautiful and heartfelt!
