Real Wedding: A rustic Wedding with a glam twist on the Gold

Taya and Ryan’s Wedding vision came to life in the most wonderful way – a rustic Wedding with a very glam twist!

“I refer to our Wedding as hay bales and chandeliers – we love the relaxed casual feel and look of barn style Weddings however wanted to also have a high end glamorous feel to the day,” Taya told Wedded Wonderland.

So the couple combined the two worlds together incorporating vintage doors, antique benches and tables, books and suitcases, lawn games chalkboard art and timer arches with glamours chandeliers and gold sequin table cloths. Gorgeous florals and greenery tied everything together. And the outcome was perfection!

Reflecting back on their Special Day, Taya and Ryan told Wedded Wonderland one of the most special and unique moments of their Day was that the celebration was not just about the coming together of the two, but also Ryan’s son and Taya’s two children.

“We incorporated a lot of sentimental things into our ceremony including a hand fasting ceremony, the rope was made by me consisting of 5 individual ropes representing each of us all twined together symbolising us uniting as a family, the ends then held charms that were relevant to us and the day. We also had a ring ceremony for our children to include them into the act of the marriage as a whole family uniting the 5 of us not just Ryan and myself, this was a surprise to them and it was an amazing part of the ceremony.” We love this idea!
