Imagine waking up on what you assume to be just a regular day, only to look down at your hand and realise a beautiful two carat ring glistening on your finger! Well, that’s exactly what happened to our bride, Venus as hubby to be Alan, proposed in one of the simplest yet most romantic ways possible.
The wedding, let’s face it, can be considered a floral masterpiece. Have you ever seen so many pink, purple and white florals in one place at the one time before? We love the look our bride went for as she blurred the lines between an intimate space and a bold one. Venus wanted to incorporate the simple ivory and creams from the ceremony while introducing very new and bold colours to the reception.
Soft candle lights were placed delicately throughout the room, making the reception a true reflection of romance. Each seat was decorated with a clear lace wraps which neutralised the setting, calming the bold florals perfectly so that they weren’t too over powering.
Guests were greeted and introduced to cocktail hour, complete with two cocktail bars. A four course meal and finally dessert followed, making it near impossible for guests to leave hungry. Venus also proclaims the importance of the U shaped table as it allowed friends and family to share the love and laughter throughout the night.
