Real Wedding: A Real-Life Fairytale Wedding

Having always wanted to feel like a real princess on her wedding day, Janna decided to go all out with a fairy-tale theme.

A very hands-on Bride indeed, Janna designed her own wedding gown! Intricately beaded, laced and completed with puffy-sleeves, the dress turned out magnificent and definitely resembled a real-life princess. Janna also beaded her very own wedding shoes – which took her over a year! However with the help of her mother, they created the perfect pair of Cinderella heels.

Their invitations added that extra touch of fairy-tale, complete in storybook form, with their very own bookmarks. The bridesmaids were also dressed up to theme as Disney Princesses (Elsa, Aurora, Snow White, Ariel, Jasmine, Rapunzel and Belle). Each princess had their own props for the pictorials, while flower girls and ring bearers were dressed as little Cinderella’s and Prince Charmings.

Four months prior to the wedding, the couple started to film their real-life love story, re-enacting their twelve year relationship so that their guests could enjoy an emotion filled clip of their journey right from the beginning to their Wedding day. And it definitely one of the most memorable highlights of the night!

Be inspired, Fairies.
