Real Wedding: A Lively Wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel

Having recently bought a brand new home, Sohbi decided it was the perfect time to take Kim out to ‘celebrate’. He booked dinner at a restaurant inside the Shangri-La Hotel Sydney, and told her to pack a bag because they would be staying the night! However, the pair grew suspiciously late for their dinner as Sohbi suggested they drop off their luggage’s to the room first. As Kim opened the door to her hotel room, an array of candles lit up the hallway guiding her through a pool of scattered red rose petals. On one knee surrounded by candles, balloons and roses, Sohbi asked Kim to marry him and she said Yes!

Sohbi and Kim’s magical day began with a heart-warming ceremony at the St Joseph’s Church. The reception followed in the Grand Ballroom at the Four Seasons Hotel which was embellished in white roses along with gold and marble touches to create a stunning and lively celebrative space.

Later in the night a surprise performance by Rob Shehadie (Here Come The Habibs Actor) sparked the room into an abrupt laughter. “He was so hilarious and truly brought all cultures in the room together and had the crowd in hysterics. He was sensational!”

When asked what the most unique part of her wedding was Kim told Wedded Wonderland “The beautiful setting, I felt, set our venue apart from others. I wanted to take advantage of the high ceilings and stunning old-world chandeliers, so we made sure to incorporate the art deco drapery bridal backdrop to extend to over 6.5metres high. That and our Audio Visual lighting system gave the room ambience, serenity, a feeling of warmth and inclusion with different lighting settings that transitioned through the night.”
