Real Wedding: A Glam Sydney Wedding at the Ivy Ballroom

Despite the gloomy weather on their wedding day, Nicolle and Joseph would not change a thing. The chapel ceremony was kept traditional, in order to highlight its natural beauty and elegance. Before their departure, the pair freed two white doves to symbolise an adventure and new journey filled with love and serenity.

Soon after, the party began as the pair boarded a cruise that travelled around the harbour with closest friends and family. The magical scenery of the Sydney Harbour kick-started the evening perfectly, and before guests knew it, it was time for the reception at the Ivy Ballroom. The Ballroom was transformed to embody Nicolle’s vision of elegance and intimacy. Crystal chandeliers sparkled above guests, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, whilst big white orchids and candles bloomed throughout the room.

And we need to talk about that gown! Designed to perfection, complete with a shimmering veil, Nicolle looked absolutely stunning and felt it too, telling Wedded Wonderland her Steven Khalil gown was her idea of a ‘fairy-tale dress’. She looked beautiful beside her glamorous bridesmaids in perfectly structured gold gowns by Sant Elia.

Looking back on the most unique part of their wedding, Nicolle and Joseph agree that it would have to be the after party at the Ivy Penthouse that allowed guests to wind down and continue the party!
