Real Wedding: A Greek Wedding at the Shangri-La Grand Ballroom

This Greek Wedding is picture-perfect!

Nick and Pamela’s Special Day began with  traditional Greek Wedding celebrations at both the Bride and Groom’s house before heading to Church to officially tie the knot!

“Throughout the ceremony all I remember is constant giggling – we would be holding hands as the priest would tell us and we would look at each other and laugh. Then as we were told we could have a quick kiss as Husband and Wife that’s when I knew it was official! I was so over whelmed by the amount of family and friends that we were surrounded by at the church, and as we got to walk down the church steps it was so exciting to see what the rest of the day would hold.”

After their photo location shoot Nick and Pamela headed to the reception at the Shangri-la where they were completely stunned by the transformation of the space. “When I opened the doors both me and Nick could not believe how amazing it looked. As a Bride you always envision what your reception will look like but my florist really made everything come to life.”

Their evening celebrations soon began where joy, dancing and positive energy in the room, complete with the smashing of plates in true Greek style. One of the most memorable moments of the night was walking into the reception as Husband and Wife. “Nick and myself were accompanied by the bongos, saxophone and trumpet which started off with English music, then moving into some modern Greek music. This was us written all over – the best way to sum Nick and myself up in a nutshell!”

If Bride Pamela could give one piece of advice to future Brides it would be to take a few moments to sit down and take it all in with your Groom.  “Before you know it the night is over and just soak in the atmosphere, music and feel because there will be no going back!”
