Sydney will host one of the most extraordinary luxury wedding events ever staged in Australia this month, as internationally renowned celebrity event designer Preston Bailey joins Wedded World, a two-day immersive wedding and luxury events showcase presented by Wedded Wonderland in partnership with Crown Sydney.
Taking place on Wednesday 27 May and Thursday 28 May 2026, Wedded World will bring together global wedding industry leaders, luxury brands, couture designers, media, influencers, and engaged couples for an extraordinary celebration of weddings, fashion, design, hospitality, and destination experiences.
Founded in Australia by entrepreneur Wendy El-Khoury, Wedded Wonderland has grown into one of the world’s leading luxury wedding and celebration booking platforms, connecting couples with venues, planners, designers, and hospitality partners across 54 countries. The platform specialises in destination weddings, luxury celebrations, and multi-day cultural wedding experiences, while also supporting tourism and hospitality partners globally through media, marketing, and wedding bookings.

Australia’s wedding industry contributes approximately AUD $4 billion annually to the economy, supporting more than 15,000 suppliers nationwide and over 120,000 weddings each year. While the average Australian wedding now costs between AUD $35,000-$38,000, the luxury wedding sector continues to experience significant growth, driven by destination celebrations, cultural weddings, and multi-day experiences.
On Wednesday 27 May, the Preston Bailey Experience Day will offer guests an intimate luxury education and networking experience at Crown Sydney.

Wedded Wonderland founder Wendy El-Khoury says hosting Preston Bailey in Sydney represents a defining moment for Australia’s creative and events industry.

The main Wedded World showcase will take place on Thursday 28 May from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM across Crown Sydney’s Crystal Room, Pearl Ballroom, and iconic Pool Deck.
Designed for modern couples planning luxury, destination, and cultural weddings, the immersive showcase will welcome more than 250 engaged couples, VIP guests, influencers, and media.
The evening will be hosted by Ellie Gonsalves and special guest Jules Robinson, founder of Figur.
The event’s beauty direction will be led by renowned makeup artist Ann Hassarati, alongside 10 independent makeup artists flying in to participate in the runway experience. Hair direction will be led by celebrity hairstylist Natalie Anne and a team of leading independent hairdressers.
Official photo and video partner Inlighten Photography, led by Dean and Rachael Bentick, will capture the event, backed by more than 25 years of experience in the Australian wedding industry.
All Preston Bailey experiences will be creatively directed by acclaimed event designer Nadia Duran.
Guests will also experience the International Couture Gallery, featuring couture and ready-to-wear collections from celebrated Lebanese designer Georges Hobeika, with three couture gowns flown directly from Paris Haute Couture Week 2026.
Hobeika has dressed global celebrities including Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya, Priyanka Chopra, Heidi Klum, and Leonie Hanne.
The runway experience, designed by Jimmy Naumovski from Jimket, will showcase leading Australian and international fashion houses including:
Leo Lin, By Johnny, Steven Khalil, Vivienne Westwood by Raffaele Ciuca, Pronovias, Grace Loves Lace, White Runway, Silvia Khoshaba, Micheline Mokdassi, Norma and Lili, Theodore, and more.
Crown Sydney’s Pearl Ballroom will transform into a luxury wedding atelier curated by Mary Ronis Events, featuring immersive brand activations from:
Who Is Elijah, Jo Malone London, Cakes by Adam, Elite Dancefloors, Personalised Favours, AHOY Club, Florabelle, and Luxury Escapes.
Guests will discover leading international venues, stylists, planners, designers, destinations, hospitality brands, and wedding experts in one extraordinary evening.
The celebration will conclude with a luxury poolside afterparty featuring live entertainment, DJs, beauty experiences, and wellness activations.
