Paul Wesley, best known for his long term role as Stefan in hit drama series the Vampire Diaries proposed to his girlfriend of three years, Natalie Kuckenburg in Tuscany last weekend.
And she said YES!!
Paul Wesley’s Relationship History
Paul Wesley has been married twice previously, and we wish Natalie and Paul all the best in their future, fully believing that the third time will be the charm.
Paul was first married to Torrey DeVitto, an American Actress best known for her leading role in Chicago Med. Paul and Torrey met on the set of Killer Movie in 2007, and married four years later in 2011. The pair “amicably” split in 2013 after working together on Vampire Diaries. At the time of their split Paul commented that they would “remain friends”.
After his split with Torrey DeVitto, Paul dated Vampire Diaries and The Originals co-star Phoebe Tonkin for four years. The Australian actress is best known for her roles in hit Australian children’s show H20: Just add Water and The Originals (a Vampire Diaries spin off). Phoebe and Paul dated from 2013 – 2017, and are still good friends today.
Finally, in 2019 Paul married Ines de Ramon. Ines is the vice president of Anita Ko Jewelry in the US, a brand which is well loved by celebrities. Paul’s separation from Ines de Ramon made headlines in 2022, however the divorce was only finalized in 2024.
Despite lack of finalization, they both moved on to new relationships in 2022. Ines is now dating Brad Pitt, this relationship publicly debuted at Brad’s movie premier for Babylon in December of 2022.
Just a couple of months after Paul and Ines’s public 2022 split, Natalie and Paul debuted their relationship via Instagram.
Age is just a number
Love knows no bounds, and age is just a number!
This sentiment is especially true for Natalie and Paul who have an 18 year age gap.

Natalie is currently 25 years old and Paul is almost 43 (Happy Birthday for the 23rd of July Paul!).

This style has become increasingly popular in the last few years. The elongated oval shape of the stunningly clear 4-carat diamond beautifully flatters slender fingers and the sleek platinum silver band adds a timeless and sophisticated feel.
The Engagement
The pair shared their engagement news via Instagram stories on the 19th of July 2025.
Natalie has since posted on her Instagram saying “Yes 🤍 Always and forever”, which is perhaps a slight nod to the Vampire Diaries.
“Always and Forever” was a significant quote consistently used throughout the hit drama series between loved up vampire couples due to the inherent permanence of vampires. Because of this, the quote is synonymous with the show in the minds of fans. Many tattoos and Tumblr posts were made with these words paying homage to the show.
This playful use of ‘Always and forever’ is of course symbolic of their engagement, but it also sheds light on the light-hearted nature of Paul and Natalie’s relationship with the slight vampire diaries nod.
