Will a symbolic ceremony in Da Nang need any paperwork?
No, and that is why most couples choose one. Vietnamese law does not regulate marriages between two non-Vietnamese citizens unless one holds a Vietnamese residence permit, so a legal wedding here is usually not possible for two visitors. Couples marry legally at home first, then hold the ceremony in Da Nang on any beach or resort lawn they like.
Can we combine a Da Nang wedding with Hoi An?
Yes. Hoi An Ancient Town is about 28 km south of Da Nang, roughly 45 minutes by road or shuttle. Many couples base the wedding on the Da Nang coast and plan a guest evening in Hoi An's old town, or choose a venue along the long beach that links the two.
Which Da Nang venue suits around 150 guests?
Pullman Danang Beach Resort is a good fit. Its beachfront lawn seats around 150 for dinner as the evening cools, and the 720 square metre Lotus Grand Ballroom takes up to 300 as the wet weather backup. For a much larger party, the Grand Ballroom at Ariyana Convention Centre seats about 1,000 and divides into three halls.
