  • Nearest airport: Phuket International Airport (HKT), about 76 to 80 km south of central Khao Lak.
  • Transfer: Khao Lak is about 75 minutes by car north of Phuket airport, and guests on the northern beaches, such as Pakarang or Bang Sak, drive a little longer.

Yes, it is made for one. Devasom Khao Lak sets its venues for 60 guests or fewer, and the beach takes 20 seated or 60 standing. A ceremony on the sand is only a few steps from dinner, so nobody has to move far and the evening keeps its pace.
Can we hold our Khao Lak reception in a Bib Gourmand restaurant?
Yes. TAKOLA at Devasom holds a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand for Southern Thai cooking made with Phang Nga and Andaman Sea produce, and it seats 60 for a reception, doubling as the indoor backup. Devasom Beach Grill, which received a MICHELIN Plate in 2021, also seats 60 across indoor and outdoor tables with sea and pool views.
Where can the hens or the family gather before a Khao Lak wedding?
In Devasom's Sky Villa, a 2 bedroom penthouse with its own pool that takes 8 seated or 30 for drinks, for your closest friends the night before or after. We then plan the wedding dinner itself at TAKOLA or the Beach Grill, so each night has its own setting.
Can every guest stay at the resort for a Khao Lak wedding?
For a wedding of this size, usually yes. Devasom Khao Lak has 69 rooms, pool suites and pool villas on the beachfront, with Seaside Grand Deluxe rooms, junior suites with jacuzzis, Beachfront Pool Villas and a 2 bedroom beachfront villa. Families with younger children also have the kids' club.
