Plan a wedding in the Lombardy and the Lakes

The castle at Casiglio began as a 10th-century outpost, and its medieval floors were brought back in a 1985 restoration. You can marry outdoors in the century-old park around it, then stay among the trees for your photographs.

Near Mantua, Villa Schiarino Lena runs the day through its gardens, with cocktails in the garden of the two little bridges and dinner under the stars beside the loggia. Inside, restoration has kept the coffered ceilings, and the halls are heated for a wedding in any season.
