Your wedding

Navutu Stars is built for small weddings. With 10 bures, the resort suits 20 to 25 guests, and for stays of 4 days or more you can charter the entire property so the island is yours. Ceremonies take place on a palm-lined beach, with the resort arranging the wedding licence and a tala tala (priest). You can go traditional, with Fijian warriors, a village choir and a feast, or keep it to the couple alone.

Your stay

The 10 bures blend Fijian thatch with Mediterranean styling: Garden Bures, oceanfront Waterfront Bures, Grand Bures with soaking tubs and The Sue Levu, a split-level villa of about 130 square metres with a kids' cabin. All have king beds, timber decks and day beds.

A kava ceremony usually follows the vows. Dinner can be served at the beachfront restaurant, at candlelit tables on the sand, or beside the saltwater infinity pool, and the sunset deck works well for drinks beforehand. The weekly lovo, cooked in an earth oven with cultural performances, makes a natural welcome night for the group.

Between events, guests can snorkel the reefs, kayak and paddleboard the 3 bays, hike Na Vokavoka Hill, visit Yaqeta village, or take a boat to the Sawa-i-Lau caves and the Blue Lagoon beach. Every guest gets a 20-minute arrival massage at the Island Spa.
