The Suncoast runs along the top of Viti Levu, with the Nakauvadra Range behind it keeping the climate dry. Volivoli Beach Resort spreads 33 rooms and villas across 17 acres, each with its own outdoor space looking over the ocean.

The larger Ocean View Villas give a family or the wedding party more room, and some have private pools. Between events, guests can kayak and snorkel straight off the beach.

The resort also hosts a weekly Fijian cultural night with food, music and dance, which makes an easy welcome evening for guests who arrive early.
What does a beach reception look like on the Suncoast?
At Volivoli Beach Resort, receptions stay outdoors for 2 to 60 guests. The team can set a long table in the sand, serve a buffet under the stars or run cocktails and canapés beside the infinity-edge pool. An air-conditioned poolside conference room for up to 50 theatre style gives you an indoor fallback if the weather turns.
Should Suncoast wedding guests stay a night in Nadi first?
If they land in the evening, yes. The road north runs through Lautoka, Ba and Tavua, and a night near the airport with a morning transfer is easier after a long flight. Guests then arrive rested for the welcome evening, and we time each transfer to their flight.

Does Volivoli help with the legal paperwork for a Fiji wedding?
Yes, the resort guides you to the Registry Office before the day to arrange the legal side. Visitors marry on a special licence, applied for together in person on a weekday, and there is a district registry office in Rakiraki. The ceremony needs a registered marriage officer and 2 witnesses aged 21 or over with photo ID.
