Picture your wedding at Likuliku Lagoon Resort
An adults-only resort on Malolo Island with Fiji's first over-water bures, where vows happen on the beach, by the pool or on a bure deck.
Your wedding
Weddings at Likuliku Lagoon Resort are small and personal, ranging from a simple ceremony to a full Fijian celebration with a choir, a warrior guard and escort, and traditional wedding attire if the couple wish. The setting is the couple's choice: the beach at sunset, beside the horizon-edge pool, on the deck of an over-water bure, or on Mociu, the resort's private island a short boat ride away.
Your stay
Likuliku has 45 bures, all with views of the lagoon and ocean, built with vesi hardwood floors, hand-carved details and palm thatching woven by artisans from the Lau Group. Of these, 35 sit on the beachfront, 29 with private plunge pools, and 10 over-water bures stand above the coral reef with direct access into the sea.

After the vows, dinner can be a candlelit table for 2 on the terrace or on 1 of 2 beachside decks above the lagoon. For a small group, Saluwaki, the resort's newer restaurant, can be hired exclusively for up to 28 guests, with a wrap-around terrace over the lagoon for cocktails beforehand. The resort is reserved for guests in residence, so there are no day visitors on the beach during the ceremony. Ceremonies cannot be held on Sundays, though vow renewals with a celebrant can.
Days include complimentary paddle boarding, kayaking, sailing and snorkelling, treatments at Tatadra Spa, walks to the top of Mt Uluisilo, a visit to Yaro village and sunset cruises. The resort's Fijian crested iguana sanctuary rewards guests who love nature.

You say your vows on the deck of an over-water bure with the lagoon beneath you, or on the beach at sunset. A Fijian choir and a warrior guard can lead you in, and the resort takes no day visitors, so the beach is yours.
Afterwards, dinner is a candlelit table on the terrace or on one of the Beachside dining decks above the lagoon. A small group can take over Saluwaki, with cocktails first on its wrap-around terrace over the water.
Choose your ceremony and reception settings
Your advisor checks each one against your date and guest count:
Lagoon beach: Say your vows on the beach as the sun goes down over the lagoon, with your guests gathered on the sand around you.
Horizon-edge pool: Marry beside the horizon-edge pool, where the water appears to run straight into the lagoon behind you.
Over-water bure deck: Say your vows on the deck of an over-water bure, with the lagoon and the coral reef right beneath your feet.
Mociu private island: Take a 15-minute boat ride to Mociu, an uninhabited nature reserve, and marry with only the island around you.
Saluwaki: Take over the restaurant for a private dinner, with cocktails first on the wrap-around terrace over the lagoon. Seats up to 28.
Beachside dining decks: Dine by candlelight on one of 2 private decks above the lagoon, with the water just below your table.
