On the main shore at Warwick Fiji, the Navau Deck suits a twilight ceremony looking along the coast. At Yatule, a resort serenade walks the bride to the altar, and a flower shower follows the vows.

Questions couples ask about marrying on the Coral Coast

Where do we apply for a marriage licence on the Coral Coast?
At the district registry office in Sigatoka or Navua, both on the coast road. Visitors marry on a special licence, applied for together in person on a weekday. The ceremony needs a registered marriage officer and 2 witnesses aged 21 or over with photo ID, and the officer should be booked 2 weeks ahead for a ceremony away from the registry.
Can our wedding group book a whole wing of a Coral Coast resort?
Yes, at InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa. Its Club InterContinental wing, a resort within the resort on a plateau above Natadola Beach, has 50 suites that a wedding group can reserve entirely on set dates, giving your guests sole use of the club and its lounge.
Is there a wedding chapel on the Coral Coast?
Yes, there are 2. The Bure Ni Loloma at OUTRIGGER Fiji Beach Resort holds 100 to 120 guests, with drinks and canapés at the chapel for 30 minutes after the vows. Shangri-La Yanuca Island has its Seaside Chapel, an intimate space built for weddings, and the ceremony can also move outside onto the island's waterfront lawns.
Can guests reach Coral Coast resorts without a boat or seaplane?
Yes. There is no boat or seaplane leg to any resort on the Coral Coast, so there is no limit on luggage or numbers crossing the water. That makes the coast a good fit for a large group, and Shangri-La Yanuca Island seats up to 500 at a banquet in the Ratu Makutu Events Centre.
Where can we hold a rehearsal dinner on the Coral Coast?
Warwick Fiji's Vusu Boardroom seats up to 30 and suits a rehearsal dinner or a family ritual before the day. At Shangri-La Yanuca Island, 5 waterfront restaurants let a welcome dinner or farewell lunch sit somewhere different from the main event. InterContinental Fiji goes further, and its signature restaurant Navo can be reserved for both the ceremony and the dinner.
Can our wedding help the reef at Natadola Bay?
Yes. At InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa, each wedding sponsors a coral rope to help regenerate the reef in Natadola Bay. Guests who want to see the work up close can join a Coral Planting Safari between events, a quiet morning away from the wedding plans.
