Murchison Falls National Park
Day 2 · Murchison Falls National Park
You fly to Murchison Falls, one of the most scenic stretches of the Nile, and settle into a lodge on the riverbank.
Day 3 · Murchison Falls National Park
A morning drive on the north bank looks for giraffes, buffalo, elephants and lions. Later a boat carries you past hippos and crocodiles to the foot of the falls.
Kibale National Park
Day 4 · Kibale National Park
You climb to the top of Murchison Falls for the view, then fly to Kibale in the afternoon.
Day 5 · Kibale National Park
Kibale is home to 11 primate species. You trek early for chimpanzees, then walk through Bigodi village to learn about local food and crafts.
Queen Elizabeth National Park
Day 6 · Queen Elizabeth National Park
You drive to a park of lakes, savannah, forest and wetland, with an afternoon drive for elephants, lions and hippos.
Day 7 · Queen Elizabeth National Park
Morning and afternoon drives look for the park's tree-climbing lions, and you toast the day with a sundowner.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Day 8 · Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You drive out of the Rift Valley into the mountains of Bwindi and visit a nursing school that trains local health workers.
Days 9 to 10 · Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You spend two days trekking through misty forest to sit with mountain gorilla families. A farewell dinner at the lodge ends your stay.

You fly to Entebbe and rest in a day room before your flight home.

You fly from Entebbe to Murchison Falls for a boat trip to the foot of the falls and a climb to the top. In Kibale you trek for chimpanzees and walk through Bigodi village, then look for tree-climbing lions in Queen Elizabeth National Park. You end with two gorilla treks in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
