Day 1 · Lima
You are met at the airport and taken to your hotel to check in. In the afternoon a four-hour tour visits the Larco Museum, Casa Aliaga and the Plaza de Armas with its 16th-century cathedral, returning you to the hotel in the early evening.
Cusco
Day 2 · Cusco
Take a morning flight to Cusco and check in. From about 1 pm a guided tour visits the Santo Domingo convent on the foundations of Coricancha, the cathedral, and the hilltop sites of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo and Puka Pukara.
Sacred Valley
Day 3 · Sacred Valley
Spend an hour in Chinchero, a weaving town with Inca walls and a 17th-century church, then visit the Living Museum of Yucay, where traditional crafts are made by hand. Lunch is in Ollantaytambo before a climb up its fortress.
Machu Picchu and Cusco
Day 4 · Machu Picchu and Cusco
Ride the train down the valley to Aguas Calientes and the bus up to Machu Picchu for a guided tour of about two and a half hours. After lunch in town, the train and a transfer bring you back to Cusco.

Day 5 · Cusco
Breakfast, then a transfer to Cusco airport for your flight.

A night in Lima, then up to Cusco for the old Inca capital and a night in the Sacred Valley. A train carries you to Machu Picchu and back to Cusco, before a full day crossing the altiplano to Puno, where a boat takes you to the Uros and Taquile islands on Lake Titicaca.

You start with a food market and a bike ride through Lima, then head into the Sacred Valley for a llama-escorted walk and a village visit.
