A guided walk takes you to Marienplatz for the Glockenspiel and the Frauenkirche, then a food walk brings sausages, cheese, beer and schmalznudel. The afternoon is free.
Bad Tölz and Kitzbühel

You walk Bad Tölz's painted old town and look out from the Kalvarienberg. A brewery founder shows you his methods and lets you tap your own beer before you cross into Tyrol.

After a walk through Kitzbühel you hike with alpacas, a calm way to take in the mountains. You have a free afternoon, then dinner with views of the peaks.
Salzburg and Berchtesgaden
Day 5 · Salzburg and Berchtesgaden
You walk Getreidegasse past Mozart's birthplace, visit St Peter's Abbey and the Mirabell Gardens. Later you ride up to the Eagle's Nest for wide views over the Alps.
Lienz, Aguntum and Cortina d'Ampezzo

You stroll Lienz, then tour the Roman site of Aguntum with lunch before crossing into Italy and Cortina d'Ampezzo.

You make cheese at a local dairy, then head into the Dolomites by Jeep to see the Cinque Torri rock towers.
