Nikis Resort is an ancient hamlet on a natural terrace south-west of Gubbio, made up of the Church of Santa Maria di Agnano, a defensive fortress with a lookout tower, and other stone buildings spread over 5 hectares. The church, frescoed and decorated by a follower of Giotto, sits in the central building and hosts ceremonies for 25 to 120 guests; the fortress and grounds offer outdoor alternatives.

The resort has 13 rooms in 3 styles: 4 suites, including the Torre suite in the tower, 3 lofts and 6 Cais rooms, all designed by Lena Caponetti using the original stone and forms. With sofa beds, the resort sleeps up to 55 guests.

After the vows, guests gather in the gardens and courtyards for drinks as the sun sets over the Umbrian and Tuscan hills, then sit down to dinner cooked by the resort's kitchen, with homemade pasta and local wines. Catering, linen, tableware and staff are in-house, and the team can add a marquee, open bar, DJ, babysitting, or a pizza or barbecue evening for the welcome night.

Between events there are 2 outdoor pools open from late March to late October, a Finnish sauna and outdoor jacuzzi, massages and yoga. The team also arranges truffle hunting, horse riding and sommelier tastings, and Gubbio's medieval centre is a short drive away.
