Grand Hyatt Bali handles weddings of almost any size. Outdoor ceremonies take place among manicured gardens and ponds or on the white sand facing the Indian Ocean, and the resort's outdoor spaces can hold up to 1,500 guests in total, so a large guest list is not a problem.
The resort has 636 rooms, suites and villas across 4 villages, designed in contemporary Balinese style, with connecting rooms and Grand Club rooms that include lounge access. The Grand Executive Suite runs to 141 square metres with ocean or garden views.
For receptions, couples can stay outside under the stars or move into the Grand Ballroom, a pillarless 1,202 square metre room with chandeliers that seats 736 for a banquet. The Karangasem ballroom offers a smaller indoor option for 320 seated. An on-site wedding planner coordinates every event, from rehearsal dinner to after-party, and the in-house florist and kitchen tailor menus and styling. The resort grounds are also available for pre-wedding and family photos.
Between events, guests have 5 pools, including the River Pool with 2 waterslides and the adults-only Bay Club Pool, plus Kriya Spa, the Oceania Kids Club, and squash and yoga at the Bay Club fitness centre. Pasar Senggol, a night market with Balinese performances, makes an easy welcome dinner.
