Volivoli Beach Resort offers 2 ceremony settings: the beachfront below the resort, or a hilltop with a wide view over the ocean and the sand spit. Couples can choose a contemporary ceremony or a traditional Fijian one, and the resort guides you to the Registry Office beforehand to sort out the legal paperwork.
The resort has 33 rooms and villas across a 17-acre property, each with a private outdoor space looking over the ocean. Ocean View and Deluxe Ocean View Rooms suit guests on shorter stays, while the Superior, Premium, Luxury and Family Ocean View Villas give more space and privacy, some with private pools.
Receptions stay outdoors. For 2 to 60 guests, the team can set a long table in the sand, serve a buffet under the stars, or run poolside cocktails and canapes beside the infinity-edge pool. Live island music and Fijian performances can carry the evening. In the days around the wedding, the resort can organise sunset cruises, waterfall and village trips, deep-sea fishing and bonfire nights, which work well for hens and bucks gatherings.
Between events, guests can kayak, paddleboard and snorkel off the beach, book a treatment at Daulomani Day Spa, dive with Ra Divers, or take a boat to Nananu-i-Ra and Malake islands. There is a weekly Fijian cultural night with food, music and dance.
