Ceremonies at InterContinental Fiji take place in 1 of 3 settings: the glass-walled Loloma wedding pavilion facing Natadola Bay, a manicured lawn with the same outlook, or the white sand of the beach itself as the sun goes down over the Pacific. The resort hosts only 1 wedding on any given day, so the team and the venues are focused on a single celebration.
Rooms and suites are spread across 35 acres of beachside gardens laid out like a traditional Fijian village, with categories from garden and pool view rooms to lagoon view and beachfront suites. Club InterContinental, a resort within the resort on a plateau above the beach, has 50 suites that a wedding group can book out entirely between 11 January and 31 March, or 1 November and 20 December.
Receptions move to the beachfront or indoors to the Natadola Ballroom. Couples who want a smaller, more polished evening can take over Navo, the signature restaurant, for both the ceremony and dinner. Ready-made options exist for groups of up to 30 and up to 50 guests, and the team will also build a fully tailored day. A typical flow runs from a late afternoon ceremony to sunset photographs on the sand, then dinner and dancing under the open sky beside the bay. Pre-wedding plans are easy to add: spa time in the Orchid Room for the bridal party, or a round of golf for the groom's side.
Between events, guests play 9 or 18 holes at Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course, book treatments at Spa InterContinental, dive or snorkel the bay, or join a Coral Planting Safari. Children aged 4 to 12 have the Planet Trekkers Kids Club.
