Yatule Resort & Spa is a small resort, and weddings here feel that way. Ceremonies happen on the white sand of Natadola Beach, framed by a draped bamboo arch and bamboo pews, or on a private lawn with a gazebo hung with sheer fabric and flowers and lanterns lining the aisle. A resort serenade welcomes the bride to the altar, and a flower shower follows the vows. An official representative from the registrar officiates, and the team handles the licence run to the registry on a working day after arrival.
Guests stay in 36 contemporary bures, all air-conditioned with ensuite bathrooms and only a short walk from the beach. Categories run from Pool View bures near the pool and bar to Beachfront and Deluxe Beachfront bures on the ocean's edge, Ocean View and Deluxe Ocean View bures, and a 3-bedroom Executive Villa that suits the couple's family.
The resort's set ceremony and reception option covers up to 30 people, so this is a venue for elopements, vow renewals and intimate weddings rather than large parties. Receptions stay within the resort, a short walk from the ceremony site, with Natadola Bay as the backdrop. A dedicated wedding coordinator works with the couple through the planning and stays on hand throughout the day itself.
Days are relaxed: guided snorkelling off the beach, volleyball, bush walks, weaving and dance lessons, and cultural tours. Golfers can play Natadola Bay Championship Course a few minutes away. Meals are taken at NA UA Restaurant or Yuhi Robata Grill, with drinks at Breakers Bar.
