We’ve been dying to see first images of Miranda Kerr’s wedding since the intimate affair occurred in May and they’re finally here!
Miranda wore a breathtaking custom designed Dior Haute couture gown, created by none other than Maria Grazia Chiuri former head designer of Valentino and Dior’s current artistic director. Speaking to Vogue about her dress, Miranda explained simply “Honestly, I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful wedding dress.”
The gown is said to be inspired by the iconic Grace Kelly, and the gown she wore back in 1956 for her wedding to Prince Rainier of Monaco. According to designer Chiuri “She wanted something like a fairy tale, and she gave me this idea, to make a dress that was emotional and simple at the same time.” It sure is fairy tale!
Miranda Kerr wed SnapChat founder Evan Spiegel on the 27th May, in a private ceremony for family and friends of around 40 guests, who were chauffeured to Spiegel’s house in California for their intimate reception.
Take a look Fairies.
