Actress Mandy Moore is reportedly engaged to longtime boyfriend, Taylor Goldsmith. Yes, we know Fairies, it’s definitely hard to picture Mandy married to anyone other than Shane West, but stop the A Walk to Remember reruns because real-life congratulations are in order!
According to E! News, Moore was sporting what appeared to be an engagement ring on her ring finger whilst spotted out and about in LA this week. But did boyfriend and Dawes guitarist actually pop the oh-so-important question?
E! News reporter Marc Malkin confirmed the rumours with a post on Facebook. “I can exclusively reveal that the This Is Us star’s musician boyfriend Taylor Goldsmith popped the question last night at their house”, Malkin’s post read. “He was petrified”, a source told Malkin and reports that the engagement ring is “understated” and “very Mandy”.
Early this year Moore revealed she was contemplating heading down the aisle and admitted to turning into a wedding dress girl. “I was like, ‘I know I actually already did this once before but I eloped and I didn’t have a wedding dress, so maybe if I do round two one day,’” she explains. “Wearing a wedding dress for that episode [This Is Us] kind of shifted my mindset on wearing a proper wedding dress. I was like, ‘I kinda feel like I have to do this in real life now.’”
Mandy and Taylor first went public with their romance back in December 2015 and celebrated their two-year anniversary in July of this year. “The best 2 years. Never not smiling with you, T”, Moore wrote on an Instagram post. Congrats to the happy couple and we can’t wait to see the ring!
