As is custom, the bride and groom kicked off the day with fun-filled wedding preps. Surrounded by their respective families, bridesmaids, and groomsmen, they got ready for the massive milestone coming up ahead. As a quieter prelude to the wedding, the morning preps often prove to be heartfelt opportunities for the couple to bond with their families before they step into a new shared life.
Carla’s parents got to have a priceless first look at their daughter dressed in her full bridal ensemble. The first look involves the family or other chosen loved ones getting to see the bride wearing her dress and veil before she walks down the aisle in front of all the other guests. This was such an endearing moment!
It seems that the groom’s side had an absolute blast as well! Even the family dog got to play a special part in Luca’s big day!
The pair officially tied the knot in a Catholic church ceremony, expressing their commitment through meaningful rituals. Carla was ever the modern bride in a chic strapless gown by Australian couture designer GretaKate, while Luca looked dapper in an impeccably tailored black suit with a bowtie to match. The moment was picture-perfect!

The couple selected the Hickinbotham Terrace as their venue, which is among the five spaces offered by the National Wine Centre for weddings. The outdoor location is surrounded by spreads of grass and framed with abundant foliage, creating an ideal setting for a bright garden wedding. The terrace itself is a great canvas for event stylists—the open plan is perfect for more intimate celebrations since guests will be able to see and interact with each other, unlike the distance often created by massive ballrooms. Plus, the square configuration makes for an instant dance floor!
Luca and Carla certainly took advantage of the spot. The newlyweds posed for a gorgeous photoshoot, mounted a limoncello tower, and partied with their nearest and dearest!
