Celebrity-favourite Jenny Packham never ceases to impress with her classic and romantic gowns worn by the likes of Kim Sears, Dita Von Teese, Taylor Swift and Nina Dobrev; and over the weekend, we managed to make it to the runway of her 2016 Bridal Collection as part of New York Bridal Market.
Jenny’s latest collection is inspired by Shakespeare’s romantic comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and features celestial silks and tulles, sculpted corsetry and cascading chiffon.
Soft meadow green tones, appliqué organza blooms, ostrich feathers, crystal foliage motifs and delicate floral lace are used to evoke the magical woodland forests that were described in Shakespeare’s play. Swarovski crystals adorned the gowns and as they caught the light, created beams of rainbows on the surrounds.
