Demetrios 2018 Collection Launch at Primus Hotel Sydney

A celebration of all things opulent, glamourous and elegant, Demetrios’s 2018 Collection launch at the Primus Hotel Sydney was a night not to be missed. A lesson in event styling, the hotel lived up to its reputation as one of the city’s most beautiful venues, with guests left breathless by the layout.

Greeted by a heavenly floral and candle centrepiece upon arrival, brides and guests were ushered into the stunning grand foyer, where a showcase of their dream reception was on display.

Primus’s art deco halls were made even more stunning by the addition of gold accented lighting, velvet settees and multiple snow-white tree centrepieces, not to mention the bevvy of models walking through the crowd in Demetrios’s latest creations.

Ranging from low-backed and beaded pieces to full sleeved and heavily embellished designs, the label’s 2018 line was as versatile as it was beautiful. The variety of silhouettes ensured every bride was catered for, while Demetrios’s signature attention to detail was the only repetitive feature.

Models wove between the spectacular table setting created for the night, with its colour scheme of plum, dusty pink and brass the perfect complement to their opulent gowns.

The lusciously decorated long table made for a stunning centrepiece, with its crystal lamps, orchids and brass cutlery making it near-impossible for guests to draw their eyes away, with attendees having to do little to get a Pinterest-perfect shot.

Guests we treated to a series of delicious purple and pink-themed desserts, with gold encrusted cupcakes, a faux-wedding cake, and a mouth-watering strawberry tower a constant temptation throughout the night.

The highlight of the event, however, was the giveaway of a $50,000 wedding package at the Primus Hotel Sydney, with a rooftop ceremony, three-course dinner and a two-night stay in a Presidential Suite just some of the amazing inclusions. The winning bride was understandably ecstatic, describing her dream wedding as an elegant and stylish Primus affair guests would be talking about for months.
