It’s official! Australian music icon Delta Goodrem has tied the knot with longtime partner Matthew Copley, and their fairytale wedding has left the world breathless. Taking place under the Maltese skies in June 2025, this intimate and cinematic celebration is a perfect showcase of luxury, culture, and heartfelt elegance.
From the very first glance, this wedding exudes magic. The couple said “I do” surrounded by close friends and family in what Delta lovingly described as a “family fairytale wedding brought to life by so many angels surrounding us.” The location? Malta, a destination rich in history, romance, and grandeur, setting the tone for a wedding that felt both sacred and spectacular.
The ceremony and celebrations unfolded across The Phoenicia, one of Malta’s most iconic and luxurious hotels. Known for its majestic architecture and sweeping views, the venue served as a breathtaking backdrop for a love story years in the making.
Delta’s custom wedding gown was a showstopper by Australian couture house Paolo Sebastian. Inspired by the frescoes of St. Paul’s Cathedral in Mdina, where the couple wed, the gown featured Paolo Sebastian’s signature ball gown silhouette, exquisite lacework, and layers of intricate embroidery, a tribute to both heritage and haute couture. The look was paired with ethereal accessories and timeless styling, crafted by stylist Meggy Smith, hairstylist Michael Brennan, and makeup artist Noni Smith.
The celebration was a seamless blend of Australian creativity and Mediterranean charm.

Photography: The dreamy imagery was captured by Matt Porteous and Becky Lee Brun, bringing a documentary style of storytelling to the wedding’s emotional highs and tender moments.
Though the wedding was kept quiet until the official announcement, the images released speak volumes. Classic yet current, intimate yet elevated. Delta and Matthew’s wedding redefines the luxury destination wedding blueprint for the modern, style-conscious couple.
As Delta shared, “We are holding on to every memory from that moment, the love, the laughter, the happy tears and dancing till the sun came up.”
