The Height of Luxury: Why Crown Sydney Is the Ultimate Canvas for Wedded World 2026

Eighty-eight floors above Sydney Harbour, a venue does not simply host an event. It becomes the event. Welcome to Crown Sydney.

When you are building an event designed to redefine what a luxury wedding showcase can be, the venue cannot just be beautiful. It needs to mean something. Crown Sydney means something.

Rising 275 metres above the Barangaroo waterfront, Crown Sydney has been designed not only to frame Sydney Harbour’s most iconic landmarks, but to stand alongside them as a defining feature of the city skyline.

For Wedded World 2026, a global showcase curated for the wedding industry’s most influential names and a new generation of luxury-driven couples, it is the only setting that aligns with the ambition of the event.

Art Meets Architecture

Before a single guest arrives, Crown Sydney sets the tone.

Its sculptural form, inspired by three twisting petals, rises with intention an architectural statement by Wilkinson Eyre that captures both movement and elegance while perfectly framing the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.

Inside, globally renowned New York–based designers Meyer Davis has created a refined, residential aesthetic with natural tones, generous spaces and intuitive technology, ensuring every guest experience feels effortless, personal and elevated.

This is where design meets experience. Where architecture becomes part of the story.

Spaces need to be built around moments that matter, able to impress on arrival and disappear once transformation begins. Crown Sydney’s event spaces do exactly that.

Spaces Designed for Moments That Matter, at Every Scale

Crown Sydney’s event spaces are built to do two things seamlessly: impress on arrival and transform without limitation.

The Pearl Ballroom remains the centrepiece, Sydney’s most prestigious event space, accommodating up to 320 guests. With its expansive pre-function area, open-air terrace and ability to divide into three intimate spaces, it delivers both scale and flexibility.

The Crystal Event spaces offer a compelling counterpoint. Versatile, light-filled environments with refined finishes, designed to host everything from focused industry meetings to large-scale showcases with ease.

The Opal Suite provides a more intimate setting, with uninterrupted water views across Darling Harbour. Ideal for social events and elevated experiences.

Every space is supported by flawless service and a level of execution that sets a new benchmark for events in Sydney.

An Integrated Resort Experience

Crown Sydney is not just a venue; it is a fully integrated destination where every element is designed to create a seamless and memorable experience. With 349 rooms, suites and villas, all offering water views, the property invites guests to stay and fully immerse themselves in the occasion.

The Crown Spa delivers a complete wellness journey, complemented by a 45-metre infinity pool overlooking the harbour, heated year-round, and a state-of-the-art gym with panoramic views.

World-Class Dining Under One Roof

Crown Sydney is home to some of the most awarded dining experiences in Australia, where every venue contributes to a seamless and elevated guest journey. From Nobu, where Japanese sophistication meets Peruvian influence, to a’Mare’s authentic ingredients served with a side of Italian charm, Woodcut’s waterside dining brought to life through smoke, steam, fire and ice, and Golden Century, Sydney’s favourite Chinese restaurant.

Each culinary touchpoint adds depth and distinction. Together, they reinforce Crown Sydney’s position as the destination with the most awarded restaurants under one roof, while top-shelf bars and rooftop experiences ensure celebrations extend effortlessly beyond the main event - all within one destination.

The Pinnacle Setting for Wedded World 2026

Wedded World 2026 will come to life over two days across key spaces within Crown Sydney, creating a layered, multi-dimensional journey that extends far beyond a single setting.

Spanning two dedicated event floors, the pool and curated touchpoints throughout the property, the showcase unfolds seamlessly across the destination, delivering an immersive journey across the resort.

May 27 - Industry Day

An invite-only experience for global planners, decision-makers and partners, centred around curated meetings, exclusive access and meaningful connections.

May 28 - Consumer Showcase

A cinematic bridal runway. A Wedding Atelier for one-on-one designer experiences. Immersive installations, contemporary tablescapes and destination concepts that move beyond inspiration into execution.

Wedded World 2026 at Crown Sydney is not a wedding fair. It is a global gathering at one of the world's most iconic locations, setting a new standard for what this industry can look like at its best.

Crown Sydney was built to be seen from everywhere and experienced from within. Some venues host events. This one elevates them.
