Childhood Best Friends Tie The Knot

Mel was always waiting for Ben to pop the question as the two have known each other since they were 6 years old. As the two grew up, their friendship blossomed into a relationship during high school and Mel always dreamt of marrying her best friend. The moment he proposed to Mel, Ben made all of her dreams come true!

Despite being sick the morning of the wedding due to his bux weekend in Bali, Ben still went ahead with the day and didn’t complain once. Nothing could take away this special day from him and wanted to make sure that everything went accordingly to plan, something Mel will never forget.

The couple’s wedding was filled with love, family and traditions. Mel and Ben were crowned King and Queen during their wedding ceremony by the bride’s uncle and his oldest brother, who traveled specially for the couple’s special day.

The theme of their wedding day was simple but styled with elegance. They went with baby’s breath and lush greenery in the church and carried these florals throughout the reception with an array of candles and fairy lights, creating a dreamy and fairy tale ambiance.

The couple also incorporated sentimental and personal touches to their special day including having their own custom designed crowns for their ceremony.

“I contacted a lady in Ukraine who was beyond helpful and now these crowns are the first editions to our family heirloom” explains Mel.

Mel and Ben have so many incredible memories from their wedding day, however one that definitely stood out to couple was their first dance as husband and wife.
