Bindi Irwin is getting married at the most sentimental venue

Bindi has announced that she plans on paying homage to her late father Steve Irwin by hosting the event at Australia Zoo. She claims she’s excited to be having the wedding there as it’s sentimental and special to her family; it’s also where she and Chandler met 6 years ago.

Bindi has also revealed she wants her younger brother, 15-year-old Robert Irwin to walk her down the aisle on the big day in further tribute to her father. “I think that for me, it’ll be really important that Robert walks me down the aisle,” she told Entertainment Tonight.

Robert also helped with the planning of the engagement last week, as well as using his renowned photography skills to capture the moment. On Instagram Robert also stated that he couldn’t be happier with the couple and stating that “you are true soulmates and have always been so completely perfect for each other.”

We can’t wait to see how this event unfolds. One thing is for sure though, this unique wedding will definitely involve a lot of family sentimentality – and we love it!
