It’s been five years since Anna Heinrich graced our screens on the first season of The Bachelor Australia, winning Tim Robards’ heart as well as ours with her infectious smile and down-to-earth nature.
Since then, the part-time criminal lawyer has kept busy; gracing red carpets, helming her own beauty and lifestyle blog, Love Always Anna, and being an ambassador for some major brands, including her latest venture with Pantene.
Now Anna’s onto the next big chapter of her life – preparing for her upcoming wedding to Tim. As we, and Anna’s 315,000 Instagram followers, excitedly wait for the big day, we had a chance to ask Anna all about her wedding prep, beauty tips, and the secret to her enviable hair.
My beauty regime hasn’t changed too much – I don’t think you should try anything new right before your wedding as you just don’t know how it will affect you. I’m a real believer in ‘less is more’ – I make sure I cleanse my face every night with Blessed by Nature’s micellar water, and I tend to follow this with a light facial moisturiser.
I’ve also been having Clear & Brilliant Laser treatments, which I love! When it comes to prepping my hair for the big day, my focus has been maintaining strong, healthy hair so I can keep it long and shiny to create the perfect base for whatever style I choose to wear on the day.
First comes the dress … and everything else follows. I’m heading in to have another fitting soon so will play around with my hair then to see what works best. But whatever style I do choose – I want my hair to look as healthy and shiny as possible!
I am now a part time criminal lawyer which definitely makes things a little easier and I have a killer wedding planner! Everybody’s ‘balance’ is different and for me it’s about not neglecting one area of my life that’s important to me. Sometimes you have to give up something in order to fit another in … that’s life and I’m rolling with it. I think I’m doing okay!
I’ve always wanted to have a sophisticated, glamorous and fun wedding. I hope that is the vibe on the day. For me a wedding is about celebrating the love of two people but always celebrating with the other loves of your life … your family and friends. Our wedding is certainly fast approaching!
