Having met at a music festival in 2010, the couple has been together for 9 years. On their 7th anniversary, Ambrose blindfolded Renee and drove her down to the spot where they had their first date, sitting by the beach. When she got out of the car, there were candles leading down to a private oasis he had set up. He got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Renee describes the night as perfect, as they spent the rest of the night drinking champagne and laying under the stars listening to the ocean.
Renee chose a beautiful bridal gown by Made with Love which featured an elegant, long train and beautiful lace which tied in beautifully with the couple’s wedding.
The minimalistic wedding had such an elegant and timeless theme, with a stunning view. The colour palette of their beautiful day consisted of white, blush, cream and soft greenery to tie everything together.
Touched by their love, while they were sharing their vows during the ceremony, there wasn’t a dry eye in the chapel. Even Ambrose, who Renee has only seen cry a handful of times over the years, had tears in his eyes and was struggling at times to get his words out. It was a moment they’d never forget.
