Pavithra and Shenal’s love story has been full of surprises from beginning to end. Following Shenal’s heartfelt proposal in the middle of the Sri Lankan airport, Shenal would go on to surprise Pavithra with a live performance from her childhood-favourite singers ‘Bathiya and Santhish’ at their wedding reception.
The most unique aspect of Pavithra and Shenal’s wedding day was the traditional ceremony and Sri Lankan rituals that they followed. Pavithra’s traditional ivory gown with gold embellishments, and intricate jewellery were certainly show-stopping! The reception featured an earthy theme and leafy-green tones, as well as golden details. Additional wooden elements scarcely decorated the reception, setting a warm ambience for the evening.
