Actress Amber Heard, aged 30, has filed divorce papers to her heart-throb husband of 15-months, Johnny Depp.
The papers were received on Monday and Amber said the reason for the breakup was ‘irreconcilable differences’.
It comes just two days after Johnny’s mother, 52-year old Betty Sue Palmer passed away, making it even more heartbreaking for the actor.
Amber and Johnny exchanged vows in February 2015 on the beach of Johnny’s private island in the Bahamas in front of just 24 guests; however, the pair legally got Married before the ceremony in Los Angeles so Johnny’s sick mother could attend.
The pair are famous in Australia for their run-in with the government after Amber snuck her two dogs, Pistol and Boo into the country while Johnny was filming Pirate of the Caribbean. After they were charged, the two were required to post this awkward apology video which went viral.

Johnny was previously Married to French actress, Vanessa Paradis and the pair broke up in 2012 after 14 years together. Johnny and Vanessa have two children together, 16-year old Lily-Rose and 13-year old Jack.
