A Wedding Of Three Bridal Looks, Gelato And A Vintage

Elizabeth and Danny met whilst competing in the “Survival of the Fittest” 10km obstacle challenge in Sydney Olympic Park, where Danny would soon return to propose to Elizabeth. With over 300 people competing in the event, the couple bumped shoulders when lining up for one of the obstacles. From that moment on, they kept passing each other throughout the race and had a few funny chats.

Danny went on to reach out to Elizabeth on social media, and on Christmas Eve, the couple ended up chatting about their childhoods. As fate may have it, they realised they had been living two doors down from each other, until Danny’s family moved away when he was eight years old. The couple realised that they shared the same neighbouring babysitter. To add to the craziness, Danny revealed to Elizabeth that when he was a teenager, he had worked at the same dealership that Elizabeth had purchased her first car from, when she she was just eighteen years old! The couple ended up having dinner together, and the rest is history!

Elizabeth and Danny are the true definition of destiny, and decided to include this lovely quote in their wedding invitation:

After crossing paths as children,
near misses and almosts in our teens,
Fate finally brought us together and made us collide in a way that will connect us forever.
