Teresa and Peter’s getaway to Bali was one of the most memorable trips of their lives. Peter secretly planned and executed a candle light dinner by a spot overlooking the water and popped the question.
The couple’s wedding incorporated both traditional and modern elements. Coming from a Vietnamese background, a traditional tea ceremony a beautiful way of both families coming together before the big day. “The serving of tea to each other parents is to represent love and respect, a symbol of gratitude followed by the exchange of dowry” explains Teresa.
And with a tea ceremony, comes a beautiful and traditional dress. Teresa pulled off a spectacular gown that represented her culture and made the ceremony extra special.
Teresa and Peter tied the knot in Adelaide’s St. Francis Xavier’s Cathedral and followed their celebration at Donato Reception & Function Centre.
The couple’s wedding featured a white and gold colour scheme with touches of modern simplicity. Fairy lights and draping adorned the ceiling creating a magical and dreamy ambience.
The couple had over 400 guests including their family and closest friends, making their special day a memorable one for all.
Congratulations Teresa and Peter!
