As Philip so eloquently put in his speech, he “swooped in and defeated the dragon (insects), and Clea knew she had found her prince.” From there, they went on their first date and sang Disney songs all the way home. The classical and traditional ceremony was full of small details that showed their love for Disney, from their first dance to “A Whole New World” from Aladdin to the magical touches throughout the reception. The bride’s gown was fit for a princess, made by the talented Suzanna Blazevic, with a heavily encrusted pearl and crystal bodice and a stunning veil to match.
The ceremony took place at the St. Petka Macedonian church in Rockdale, a significant location for the couple as they are both strong in their faith. The reception was held at the new Doltone House venue in Western Sydney, which was the perfect location for them and their guests.
When asked about their favourite moments of the day, both Clea and Philip’s response was simple but heartwarming. Walking out of the church hand in hand as husband and wife was a moment that they will never forget.
