A Traditional Western Sydney Fairytale Wedding

A Traditional Western Sydney Fairytale Wedding

Get ready for a real-life fairy tale! The magical love story of Clea and Philip culminated in a beautiful wedding day that was filled with enchantment and elegance. From their romantic proposal to their Orthodox wedding, everything about their special day was simply perfect.

The story of how they met is straight out of a romantic comedy. Friends set them up on a forward drive experience, which might not have been Clea’s comfort zone, but it certainly brought them together. As Philip so eloquently put in his speech, he “swooped in and defeated the dragon (insects), and Clea knew she had found her prince.” From there, they went on their first date and sang Disney songs all the way home. It was clear that they had found their happily ever after.

Their wedding day in Western Sydney was nothing short of a fairytale. The classical and traditional ceremony was full of small details that showed their love for Disney, from their first dance to “A Whole New World” from Aladdin to the magical touches throughout the reception. The bride’s gown was fit for a princess, made by the talented Suzanna Blazevic, with a heavily encrusted pearl and crystal bodice and a stunning veil to match.

The ceremony took place at the St. Petka Macedonian church in Rockdale, a significant location for the couple as they are both strong in their faith. The reception was held at the new Doltone House venue in Western Sydney, which was the perfect location for them and their guests.

When asked about their favourite moments of the day, both Clea and Philip’s response was simple but heartwarming. Walking out of the church hand in hand as husband and wife was a moment that they will never forget.

For future brides, Clea has some great advice to share. First and foremost, enjoy the moment with your partner. Take a few minutes to soak it all in and savor the day. And don’t forget to eat! Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but remember that there is no right or wrong decision. It’s your special day, so make it your own.

All in all, Clea and Philip’s wedding was a true celebration of their love story, filled with magic, romance, and joy. We wish them a lifetime of happiness and many more magical moments together.
