Sophie and John’s wedding was simply stunning!
The couple’s wedding was held at Villa Regina Teodolinda, a charming and exquisite property overlooking the beautiful Lake Como. The couple decided on a romantic and intimate theme for their special day and it was certainly nothing short of perfection. The bride and the groom flew out their families and closest friends to Italy from all over the world to celebrate their special union.
Sophie’s bridal gown was a beautiful and romantic piece by Liz Martinez which fit in perfectly with the couple’s theme for the wedding. The dress featured a flowy skirt with minimal embellishments, capturing the simplicity and elegance of the gown. The romantic theme was paired together with a soft and classic colour scheme including blush pink tones in the floral arrangements and details adorning the ceremony arch.
Their wedding guests were able to sit back and take in the breathtaking view of Lake Como at the reception as they were seated on a long, imperial table which complimented and highlighted the surrounding European architecture of the Villa.
Sophisticated, delicate floral arrangements adorned the reception tables and gold details added the perfect touch of elegance to the wedding. The couple featured an embossed guest book and calligraphic details throughout the wedding. To honour the groom’s Chinese heritage, pink lanterns were hung in the reception creating a dreamy ambiance.
Surrounded by the love of their family and friends, the couple danced the night away and sipped on champagne underneath Italian frescoes, a perfect way to end an unforgettable wedding.
