The fetchest thing to ever happen in news today: Mean Girls is getting a musical adaptation!
Here’s what we know so far:
- Tina Fey is working on the musical adaptation
- Tina’s husband Jeff Richmond, who is a composer, is working on it with her
- Lyricist Nell Benjamin, of Legally Blonde fame, is also locked in
- The musical will premiere in Washington D.C on OCTOBER 3RD!
And then we would like to point out a couple of things:
- Lindsay Lohan has said that she would happily return for a Mean Girls sequel
- Lindsay Lohan has released 2 albums in the past, which means she can sing
CLEARLY Lindsay Lohan needs to play Caty in the musical adaptation and make the comeback we have all been waiting for!
